Campaigns: Cabbies reject ‘Partnership’ with Uber

London’s licensed taxi trade has condemned Uber’s announcement that it will ‘partner’ with iconic black cabs.

Taxi trade representatives report having had no discussions with the minicab app in advance of the announcement and suggest it is unlikely that London’s black cab drivers will align themselves with the company, given its history in London.
